Crab, Seafood and Wine Event
Celebrate the bounty of the Pacific Ocean at the 34th annual Astoria-Warrenton Crab, Seafood and Wine Festival. This event features the authentic flavors of Oregon’s North Coast as well as trend-setting artisan producers, Oregon-based wineries and more than 150 vendors.
Black Lake Fishing Derby
The last Saturday in April marks the annual Black Lake Fishing Derby. Now entering its 24th year, the event for children aged 2-14 features a free pancake breakfast and a hot dog tent. Registration is free for this event hosted by Ilwaco Parks and Recreation. Awards are given for the largest fish caught in each age division and overall aggregate weight.
Loyalty Day Celebration and Blessing of the Fleet
This year’s Loyalty Day Celebration and Parade enters its 66th year. Ilwaco’s Loyalty Day Parade is April 30 and followed a day later by one through downtown Long Beach. April 30 is also the annual Blessing of the Fleet at the Port of Ilwaco.
Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco
The Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco features more than 70 vendors along the pedestrian-only Waterfront Way overlooking the Port of Ilwaco marina and Baker Bay. Find regional produce, wonderful baked goods, a huge selection of local plants and many homemade arts and crafts from May 7- September 24, 2016.
Surf Perch Derby
Strap on your waders for the 15th annual Surf Perch Derby! This family event on May 21, 2016 features an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and prizes for top anglers.
Weekend Market on The Dock
The Weekend Market on The Dock in lovely South Bend offers produce, arts and crafts, jewelry, and entertainment. Discover more unique treasures every Saturday and Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Tall Ships of Port Ilwaco
Historic tall ships return to the Port of Ilwaco June 3-6, 2016, where visitors can board the Lady Washington or Hawaiian Chieftain for self-guided tours. Crew members are on hand to answer questions and share stories. More intrepid visitors can even book a sail.
